Ali Sethi is a Pakistani-American singer, songwriter, composer, and author known for blending classical South Asian music with contemporary global styles. Born in Lahore, he is the author of the acclaimed novel The Wish Maker (2009), and gained international fame with the viral hit “Pasoori”. He studied under Ustad Naseeruddin Saami and Farida Khanum, and his diverse influences include Hindustani classical music, ghazal, and diverse international genres.
