Bilal Maqsood is a Pakistani singer songwriter, and composer, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Strings. Born in Karachi on December 23, 1971, he is the son of renowned writer Anwar Maqsood and novelist Imrana Maqsood. After the disbandment of Strings in 2021, Maqsood has focused on creating high-quality children’s content in Urdu through his puppet show, Pakkay Dost. He is an alumnus of the Indus Valley School of Art and Architectureand has composed music for Pakistani television dramas and directed numerous music videos.VIDEOS
