Born on December 5, 1940, in British India (now Pakistan), Ghulam Ali is a celebrated Pakistani ghazal singer and a member of the prestigious Patiala Gharana of classical music. Trained by Bade Ghulam Ali Khan and his brothers, he developed a unique and soulful style by blending Hindustani classical music with traditional ghazals. Since beginning his career on Radio Pakistan in 1960, he has become one of the most revered ghazal singers of his era, with classic compositions like “Chupke Chupke Raat Din” and “Hungama Hai Kyun Barpa” earning him immense popularity across Pakistan, India, and the broader South Asian diaspora.VIDEOS
