Nimra Rafiq

BIOGRAPHY

Nimra Rafiq is one of the newer faces of the ensemble. She joined the Sounds of Kolachi in the summer of 2015, and hasn’t looked back since. She is a versatile vocalist and dubbing artist who started her musical journey in 2007. She has lent her voice to few OST’s for Pakistani dramas and has also worked in numerous foreign language dramas. She is currently exploring herself in the genre of Sufi Soul, Jazz, and World Music and has very quickly molded herself into a vital member of the ensemble. During a live experience Nimra goes to a place outside herself, especially in front of a crowd, when she hits high notes. That’s where her real power comes from — the pure, unadulterated Nimra. Hailed as Pakistan’s first opera singer the young girl has the ability to convey absolutely any emotion through sheer power of her instrument
